Well - the economy in Michigan tanked and I had to sell the cabin. I took down this blog in February but now that my grief period is over I realize it still was a great adventure and regardless if I got to keep the cabin I truly loved every step of the way. So I decided to open the blog back up and share it with you once again....

we took the LHBA class too and my son (14), husband and father will start building on our land in a few months. we can only proceed in hope and having faith in God's plan, though your story of having to sell put fear in my heart.

I am so sorry you had to sell, and boy, don't we understand as well- we moved to N. MI., bought a few acres, and of course we all know what happened with the economy in Michigan, Northern in particular...we had to leave and put our dream on hold for another time- but we haven't given up! I haven't read your entire blog yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

Wow! I have followed this blog for years but haven't been here in a while. I have so enjoyed the step by step and have considered it somewhat of a refresher course for LHBA. Anyway, see you had to sell hit me like a death in the family. I'm SO sorry!! But thank you for putting your web site back up and letting us see all the work you have done. I hope you will be able to build a new one in the future!!
